Bridge Fibre integrates into Modern Networks

Monday, March 6th, 2023

NEWS RELEASE – 18 months after Modern Networks’ merger with Bridge Fibre, the company is taking the next step towards integrating the two companies.

On March 6th, 2023, Modern Networks retired the Bridge Fibre brand name, website, and various digital assets, including Bridge Fibre’s social media accounts. Modern Networks took this strategic step to create a single, unified business under one banner.

No change to the legal entity

However, this branding change did not affect Bridge Fibre’s legal entity, and finance and back-office functions such as contracts, invoicing, and payments will remain unchanged for now.

Communications

Between March 3rd and March 6th, Modern Networks took down the Bridge Fibre website and redirected all traffic to www.modern-networks.co.uk. Additionally, Modern Networks deactivated all Bridge Fibre social media accounts.

Email

On the 3rd of March, former Bridge Fibre staff started using their Modern Networks primary email addresses. However, Bridge Fibre’s old email addresses will continue to operate for a transitional period.

Telephone

When calling the Cambridge office, the telephone greeting, auto attendant, and voicemail will reflect Modern Networks.

Tech support

Tech support and network status information will be communicated through the Modern Networks support email address, self-service client portal, or by calling the Service Desk.

For customers who followed the Bridge Fibre Status Twitter account, the account was deactivated on the 3rd of March 2023. Status updates and service inquiries will be communicated through the client portal or by calling the Service Desk.

Sales

For sales and general inquiries, please use the info@modern-networks.co.uk email address or the Request a Quote form on the website.

The retirement of the Bridge Fibre brand is a significant milestone for Modern Networks as it brings the company closer to its goal of creating a unified business under one brand. The integration of Bridge Fibre into Modern Networks will help the company better serve its customers and offer them a wider range of services.

If customers have any questions regarding the integration, they can contact their account manager or the marketing team for assistance.
