The Bridge Fibre Legacy

Bridge Fibre was a leading provider of business broadband connectivity and voice-over IP (VoIP) telephone services to the UK Science Park community for over a decade. In 2021, Modern Networks acquired Bridge Fibre and fully integrated it into the business. Modern Networks has continued to maintain its relationship with the UK Science Park Association (UKSPA), building on Bridge Fibre’s legacy. Additionally, Modern Networks is the only Internet Service Provider (ISP) that provides its customers with access to the superfast and ultra-secure Joint Academic NETwork (JANET). This allows our customers to have direct and peer-to-peer access to other JANET-connected organizations, including academic, research, service, and content providers such as Microsoft, Google, and the BBC.
