Sales Manager

Modern Networks are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing Sales and Marketing team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. As a business, we provide a variety of IT Managed Services, Telecoms & ISP Services, Consultancy & Professional Services and Value Added Resale (VAR) Services. We partner with leading technology vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, HP, NetApp & VMware.

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and Sales Administrators who are responsible for:

• administering client sales enquiries
• management of client accounts
• generating quotes and proposals
• processing customer orders
• administering service contract renewals
• growing sales revenues and contract values

The sales team deal with a high volume of work in a fast paced environment, making sales reporting, resource management, and customer service focus a key part of the Sales Management role.

The ideal candidate would have sales management experience within an MSP, VAR, Telecoms / ISP, or Technology Distributor business, with broad IT / Telecoms service product knowledge, and the ability to learn about new products and services.
